Transport
In Sydney
The best way to get around in Sydney is on foot and ferry
or other public
transport. Avoid driving a car as parking is a real problem
and hefty fines will be issued if one parks in the wrong spot.
We recommend the Sydney
Explorer Bus ,which runs every 20 minutes on a fixed route
which is of interest to the visitor. The ticket entitles to
unlimited rides for a whole day. Alternatively one can use the
City
Rail, buses
or taxis.
The
transfer from the airport to the Victoria Court can be made
by taxi or door-to-door shuttle bus. A taxi costs about AUD
$25.00 for the trip. The shuttle bus costs AUD $8.00 per person
and leaves every half hour from outside the arrival hall. There
is no need to make a reservation. The company operating the
bus is called "Kingsford
Smith Airport Bus Service".
